Being involved more and more with make-up now, I realise that there is certainly a growing amount of attention being given to mineral make-up. My interest has been fanned, due to the various elements that mineral make-up seems to offer.
One of my main reasons for learning more, specifically about Jane Iredale, was that it is an Inorganic range of products that do not contain Parobens, FD&C dyes, synthetic fragrances and fillers, such as talc.
Parobens, are what companies use as chemical preservatives in make-up and skin care ranges. There is evidence to suggest that these chemicals are the reason for some skin conditions including Acne and Rosacea.
As my job naturally covers a number of clients with varying skin conditions, I was really interested to learn about the effects that some products could have - and possibly open up an awareness, to certain alternatives.
Having now completed stage 1 of the course in London, my plan is to continue learning and researching the products, complete stage 2 and also do a bridal course with J.I. and then, offer a full mineral make-up service to clients.
