Arrived for Saks course to start at 10.30 and am greeted by Andrew Barton - British Hairdresser of the year, who’s professional, down to earth approach is both fascinating and funny.
We were to work on 2 looks in the day - one called “Bohemian Glamour”, which was a style created for long hair and inspired by icons such as Brigitte Bardot. Sexy, but also very contemporary.
The second look, “Urban Oid” was a shorter look. This had been influenced from other famous well known faces, such as Erin o Conner & Kate Bosworth. This geometric look was disconnected and edgy, but also incredibly sexy too.
We spent the day working on blocks, creating our looks with total dedication and devotion from our teacher, until we were happy with what we had created.
